A new documentary based on Avicii’s life will be release this year!

After the death of Avicii, electronic music fans, family, and friends keep reminding him and showing to more audiences every production. This time Netflix announces that it’s ready to drop a documentary inspired by the Avicii’s life, called ‘Avicii – I’m Tim,’ that will launch globally on December 31, 2024.

The film presents a look into his life, featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews, with Tim as the narrator, in addition to the documentary, Netflix will also premiere Avicii’s last show from Ibiza’s Ushuaïa, offering fans a chance to relive his final performance. The project is led by director Henrik Burman and producer Björn Tjärnberg.

“Through unique home movies and a huge private archive, we get to follow Tim on a winding journey through life – from the very first breath at the maternity ward in Stockholm in 1989 to the tragic end in Oman in 2018. This is a film where Tim himself is the narrator and he shares his inner self in a way we haven’t heard before. Through himself and everyone close to him – family, artist colleagues and best friends – we get to know Tim – the boy behind Avicii – for the first time.”

Tim Bergling best known as Avicii was a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer, a big precursor to electronic music, he was the biggest name in EDM in the 2010s and no DJ has reached the heights he did.
