Charlotte de Witte drops new single ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’, out now, announcing a Vinyl Deluxe Edition of her recent eponymous highly-acclaimed debut album, out April 3rd on her KNTXT label.
The boxed vinyl set will include an extra 4-track disc with two new cuts – ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ feat. Conduit, ‘Malina’ – and two vinyl-exclusive remixed album tracks, ‘The Heads That Know’ (They Know Acid) & ‘No Division’ (Instrumental Mix). It also comes with a branded SD card containing all tracks plus an exclusive continuous mix of the album curated by Charlotte de Witte herself, alongside a high-quality booklet
‘All good things come to an end, but this one not quite yet. I’m very proud to announce the additional tracks that complete the full “Deluxe Edition” of the album. ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ sums it all up. The whole philosophy of the album captured in one track, with lyrics written and spoken by Conduit, whom I met on the Williamsburg Bridge in 2024. It was the start of a whole other story and collaboration that resulted in me playing on that very same bridge in 2025.’ – Charlotte de Witte
‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ single feat. Conduit: his calmly authoritative vocal lays down the religion of the dancefloor – ‘the space you hold is sacred’ – over a rampaging techno beat with increasingly buzzy acid & fuzzy hoover FX, in a compulsive series of builds and breaks. A prayer of power. Says Conduit: ‘This track is hopefulness in action. It is a prayer born from a chance encounter on the Williamsburg Bridge, and made real by the earnest love Charlotte and I share for the sweating heart of the dancefloor. Put your hope into action and love will find its way in.’
‘Malina’: ‘Made with Bulgarian vocals, it’s a track that holds the perfect combination of acid and emotion. I deeply enjoy playing this one and I’m very glad it’s finally seeing the light of day.’
‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ (Avalon & GMS Remix): ‘After releasing their first EP on KNTXT in December last year, power combo Avalon & GMS put their hands on ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ and turned it into yet another psytrance banger’ de Witte says. ‘It’s beautiful to see how these two worlds keep coming together.’
