In a collaboration that is taking the Dance world by storm, artists Diego Hernan and EddyThron have come together to unleash quite the EP. Last Goodbyes is the result of a friendship made a reality through music, and it’s out now via UK-based record label, Krafted Digital.

Born in Villa Gesell, a small coastal city neighbouring the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires, Diego Hernan has got to the ears of renowned artists such as Nick Warren and Fernando Ferreyra. A guitar connoisseur by definition, his tracks often feature his talent on the strings, recurrently in the form of electric guitar riffs and arpeggios.

The other half of ‘Last Goodbyes’, EddyThron has been climbing the musical ladder for a while now. 2025 will mark the 15th anniversary of his neverending journey in the world of Dance music, and his fifth since founding Aloft, his Organic House side project, under which he co-wrote the Krafted-signed tracks.

‘Last Goodbyes’ was born after Diego recorded a guitar riff, which would become the most memorable hook of the entire EP. The release showcases the best of both of their sounds, having Diego’s strings and, for a debut, Eddy’s own vocals.

“Halfway through last year, while we were chatting Diego told me he was going to have a jamming session”, says Eddy. “Not long after, he sent me that one guitar line, and I started building around it. It sounded fabulous, but we figured it was rather empty. That’s when I decided to sing my own vocals to add to it, and it worked!”

Diego also shared some words about the release: “This EP is very special, because it took shape with the help of FIIXX, an artist of my city with a unique-sounding Stratocaster guitar. We created the demo and the rest of the elements started falling into place really naturally”.

‘Last Goodbyes’ is available in two different variations, the Organic and the Breakbeat mixes, allowing the same core elements to shine in two different flavours. Core elements, by the way, which coincidentally are both artists’ finest: Diego’s guitar and Eddy’s lyrics. Entwined in a game of call and response, they rest over a groovy, melodic base made for sunset sets by the beach in the Organic mix, and get a glitchier treatment on the more dancefloor-focused, broken beat of the B-side, the Breakbeat Mix.
