Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt has just shared her latest irresistible visualizer for her single “The Mystic’s Dream”. The song is a highlight off of her The Mask and Mirror album. Three decades after its original release, Loreena McKennitt’s The Mask and Mirror remains a remarkable testament to the transformative power of music, travel, and cultural discovery. Originally released in 1994 as the Canadian singer-songwriter’s fifth studio album, the record found McKennitt drawing from Spanish, Celtic and Moroccan traditions to create something that felt both ancient and entirely her own. Now, the artist announces a special release of the box set of The Mask and Mirror Definitive Edition. This seminal work receives an expansive new presentation that deepens the experience while offering an intimate look at the stories, journeys and circumstances that shaped it.

With “The Mystic’s Dream”, Loreena McKennitt creates a mesmerizing musical escape all about a spiritual journey. The collection includes photographs, interviews, a dress rehearsal, and audio performances, much of which has never been previously published. It also features a four-part personal essay narrated by McKennitt.
