On Sunday, June 2nd, BOXPARK Croydon will host Red Bull Bring The Vim, a dynamic event celebrating Afro Dance. This event is set to showcase a variety of Afro Dance styles and feature a competition between four dance crews. Red Bull Bring The Vim aims to highlight the energy and diversity of Afro Dance, providing a platform for talented dancers to showcase their skills and celebrate this vibrant dance culture.
The event will be hosted by the energetic Remi Burgz, known for her lively personality. The judges for the competition include HomeBros, featuring Unkle TC and KurtySwift, along with Cori D. They will evaluate the performances with the help of the audience to decide the winning crew.
The competition will see four dance crews competing in various Afro Dance styles, including Amapiano, Afro House, and Naija Street vibes. The contest will highlight the versatility and skill of each crew as they face different dance challenges.
In addition to the competition, the event will feature live performances by special musical guests and AFROBLAST. DJ sets by Cultur FM and ManLikeNaija will keep the energy high throughout the day, and an after-party hosted by DLT will follow the main event.
Guests who arrive before 5 PM will be entered into a complimentary raffle, offering a chance to win two tickets to DLT’s “The Recipe.” The competition lineup will be revealed next week, adding to the anticipation for this exciting event.
